Latex in WordPress

So I love using Overleaf for writing latex documents, but I can’t publish them as html :( I’ve investigated this before, but decided to take the plunge today and see how publishing latex on WordPress works.

First example is the venerable 2 + 2 = 4:

2 + 2 = 4

So that worked, but it’s not dark and I’d like it bigger….

2+2 = 4

Now let’s give it something harder like the quadratic formula…

m_{1,2} = \frac{-b \pm \sqrt{b^2 - 4ac}}{2a}

Okay, not bad…. let’s step it up πŸ™‚

y'' + P(x)y' + Q(x)y = f(x)

y_2 = y_1\int \frac{e^{-\int P(x)dx}}{y_1^2}dx

Again, not bad… now I like to write about quantum computing… let’s see how it does here…

\ket{\psi'} = U\ket{\psi}

Now that will not do… for reference I was using the out-of-box wordpress.com support which they kind of just throw out there… now more research…
